Holiday House Giveaway Results!

And the winner is...Mickie, who wrote:
Handmade gifts are a tradition for me. I often find new crafts I enjoy and that becomes the "gift of the year" as I adjust it for those I care about... this year I am knitting- scarves, blankets, and placemats. However, the most meaningful handmade gift I can think of coming my direction, sort of, is the dollhouse my dad made for my daughter- who isn't yet two... but has a keepsake I hope she'll treasure her entire life!

A big "Thank You" to all who entered and shared your special "hand-made" memories with us! We hope that you enjoyed reminiscing as much as we enjoyed reading about your favorite gifts. Make sure you visit the 4th annual Holiday House Boutique on November 21st and 2nd and GET INSPIRED!!

Leapfrog Alphabet Pal - No Go -UPDATED

After three phone calls to corporate (1.800.440.0680 ) - I am left frustrated. Why would they publish this online policy if they were not going to honor it?? Note the FULL list of exclusions. I plan on writing an e-mail to Target and respectfully informing them of this particular issue. Fell free to join me :).

I am grateful for the great deals and coupon they offer, but feel they need to communicate a clear and consistent policy regarding coupons and price matching. Am I asking too much?

Just a heads up - for anyone planning on doing to Leapfrog Alphabet Pal deal at Target today....All 3 Idaho locations WILL NOT PRICE MATCH A DOOR BUSTER AD. So the best you can do is use the $10 off Target coupon and snag it for whatever Target is selling it for.

Great Book Deal

Just got this from a Bff in Utah:

Just thought I'd let you know about a great online children/juvenile book deal you may want to share since I figure this could be a good christmas gift/stocking stuffer. I just got 4 great kids books for less than $8 total from booksamillion.com. They have a variety including Max the bunny books and also Spot the dog and some for older kids too. GO HERE TO ORDER!

You can also get free shipping using this promo code: BKLVFREE

I'm not sure how long this deal will last. When you go to the site, note that they show a club price (for members). I used the online (non-member) price and for my books it was only 20 cents more per book!

Thanks Darcie, awesome find!

Yankee Candles buy 2 get 2 FREE!

I can not stress this enough: THESE ARE THE BEST CANDLES EVER!!! I absolutely love them!

They smell better than any other brand and last forever. I know they are pricy - but not with a sale like this! Retail price is $24.99 for the large (they are huge). So about $55 for 4 ( including shipping) or about $13 each. I know, that is spendy, but if you love these and buy these anyway, it's a great deal.

Click Here, if discount is not automatically taken off use code XF911A1
